Care and Cleaning Tips
- Simple routine care will help to keep your Corastone™ surface clean and as good as new.
- Any spray type non-caustic bathroom cleanser can be used for regular cleaning. Water conditions in each area will determine any extra cleaning attention needed for your bathroom. Mild abrasive cleansers may be used occasionally if water deposits become visible. Corastone™ will change color slightly when wet, just like natural stone, but it should return to its original color when dry.
- Although not required, Corastone™ may be sealed if desired, using a professional quality stone sealer (follow manufacturer’s instructions on container). Sealers may change the color of Corastone™ permanently.
- Minor surface scratches can be removed by wet sanding using a fine wet/dry sandpaper (e.g. 200 or 400 grit) on a random orbital sander. Any nicks, or chips should be repaired by a professional.
- Corastone™ should not be exposed to any solvents or harsh chemicals.
- Any cleaning or sealing product should be first tried in an inconspicuous part or on leftover pieces
